Practical notes on the beaches

Most beaches around here have organised sections with umbrellas and a beach bar, as well as free stretches for those who prefer their own quiet corner.

In August it pays to start early in the morning or go late in the afternoon, when the sun softens and the beaches empty out. For the more remote coves you will want a car, water and a hat.
